Jean did some great movies. But my favorite is Angel Face with Robert Mitchum. A real kick ass lady.
I've seen more than I can recall off hand, but re-watched Guys and Dolls and Elmer Gantry lately and am sort of amazed that she never won and Oscar.

I think it's because she was always so good that everybody took her for granted. It's the same old story in Hollywood.
Still, she made a lot of really good movies for us to enjoy. That's a pretty good legacy she left behind.
