Stupid question: How many of you guys has a mic and can record MP3s?

Got a new p.c. here, with mics and webcams and all sorts of doo-hickeys that I am too damned lazy to learn how to use. Well, *that* and the flying hyenas are still after me...

There's a mic on the ASUS, but I think it's hooked up to the webcam. If I can figure out how to just use the mic I'm golden.

You gonna render mp3s from your webcam/mic and stock soundcard? Sounds like a fun experiment. I'm still looking at mine and wondering how much data it streams to the Feds...
