Sea Prince and The Fire Child (aka Sanrio's Shiriusu no Densetsu) has a DVD release after years of dwelling on YouTube.

Early 1980s Cheeseball-anime rental vets represent!

I spent my early VHS trading daze getting stuff like this and "Taro: Dragon Boy". Good times!

Hah! I *so* want to track down a copy of 'Alakazam the Great' on Laserdisc -- my commercial VHS has seen better days...

P.S. Remember the 'Whole Toon Catalog'? I finally found the link to the outfit that sourced them -- seems like they're still a pretty good resource altogether:

Facets is still around? I had one of their catalogs, it was this huge coffee table sized thing. This was way back when they only sold VHS tapes. Wonder where the heck that went...

I just picked up the DVD. Now if only I wasn't gonna be doing tons of crap this weekend.
