PG on Facebook? Yep!

Uncle Fran threw this idea at me a while back and we have pretty much zoned-it-out since we were both un/underemployed and hating life.

Now that we both have jobs again, we took the Nike slogan to heart and just did it.

Any thoughts?

For what it's worth, all we really plan on doing is load a bunch of low-rez iPhone pics and scans of pages from dusty old Xeroxed zines up into the Photo Album! Nothing very high-tech at all or involved, just another way to keep the name out there. See also: http://twitter.com/pgaijin

Go for it.

Groovy!

I'll start scanning -- once I clear off a space on my physical desktop, that is : P

Somebody just hacked the pgaijn@gmail account. Phran?

DVC said...

Weird! I had no idea there was a pgaijin@gmail account!

I'd been using it to source articles for the PGzine, when we did such things.

Ah, yup, it was Phran : )

It looks like we (I say we, like I've contributed anything in recent history) have a fb page, thanks to Phran. Danno...you keep resisting....you will be ASSimilated.

NOOOOOOOOO!

I grudgingly got a fb a couple months ago. I guess I need to log in and "friend" the pg fb.

Tohoscope said...

As long as it's Phran. I haven't used the pg e-mail in years.

For the record, I joined three different "I suck at Facebook" groups shortly after joining, and indeed I still suck at using FB.

We're supposedly hooked up through some sort of Auto-Twitter thing, but I don't even use Twitter.

Pretty soon we'll also have it set to auto-Smoke Signal ; )

I've set it up so the PGblog auto tweets on my twitter. Is there a PGaijin twitter account?

Yup. It's all a go now. A few years late but we never were first in line to do stuff.

Unless it was the buffet line. We did that, good.

Tohoscope said...

Hey Phran! Good to hear from you!

Thanks! I'm all over Twitter and Facebook these days.

Is there some sort of Facebook widget code we can paste up on the blog page? Sorta co-ordinate some cross posting?

DVC said...

@ Danno

I *know* there's a way to do it, but my GoogleFu skillz couldn't quite help me with finding the widget-thingie this morning -- maybe after work : )

Tohoscope said...

There's a facebook fanpage widget, I just have to figure out how to get the code and paste it up.
