(still tweaking the geeks...)
The animation by BONES looks great, but jeez.
I was thinking it'd be funny to see the reaction when Imagi releases their Tetsujin movie, but since Imagi is all but shutdown...

@ Danno
So, 'Heroman' is Stan's other joint? Color me confused...

They've got the first 3 chapters up at OneManga:

Found it: http://www.comicsalliance.com/2010/03/08/new-trailer-stan-lee-heroman-anime-debuts/
Stan is still crazy after all these years; 'Heroman' looks like Big O meets 'Big Guy and Rusty'...

Somewhere, my old gaming buddies are gonna have giggle fits when they see this one show up over here :-)
Back when I played Champions (the pen/paper game) in 1983 or so, I ran a character named "Hero Man" which ALSO happened to be a robot that a disabled genius kid built because he wanted to be a superhero's sidekick. But the whole shtick behind it was that no one knew the robot was really a robot. The kid was officially his NPC (game terms) and in order to go around being a sidekick, he had this souped up wheelchair that flew and sprouted tentacles and stupid stuff.
The game was run in the DC Universe where Superman really existed and when things got really tough, the robot would put on a Superman costume and a Superman face-plate and make some minor evil villain shit his pants.
If I can find the original sketch of the character that Mike drew for me, I might post about it on my blog when this thing eventually shows up over here.
RWG (never thought anyone would use a dumb name like "Heroman" though :-)
I remember the Champions RPG. I thought it was better then the TSR Marvel Superheros RPG. Cripes. That was a couple decades back.
Of all the people in America, they pick Stan Lee for a free pass to do a manga/anime about anything he wants.
There is no justice.
It actually looks like a fun show, but that theme song has got to go.
Is it just me or does 'Heroman' look like a rejected design from "Prawres Sanshiro"?
