It is an awesome toy!
I visited Neil's place once, and it was on his book shelf.
I just had to make it Gattai . . .
I wonder what Neil set the reserve price for? This is a pretty rare toy.
Two or Three hondos is my guess.
The toy is in good shape, and is worth at least as much as his reserve, considering it has the box and the accessories, little signs of aging/yellowing. A nice piece altogether, as I recall.
Of course, these days a lot of the old die cast can be had for a song, if you just know where to look : )
So far the bidding is only up to $51? I suppose everybody's waiting the bidding out.
Seriously, if I had four or five hundred spare bones laying around (and used eBay...) I would totally snatch this one up and help 'ol Nail Needleman out!
P.S. Anyone wanna buy a few old beer cans, cheap? :D
