I'm still trying to figure out what the fuss is over Snyder. His directorial auteurship seems limited to whatever the SFX/CGI teams are capable of rendering, which is pretty much anything these days.

But just because it can be portrayed almost exactly as envisioned in a fever-dream scripting session doesn't mean that it will make for a compelling story.

Also, I am sick to death of all the dark, muted tones. This is "Playstation cut-scene" filmmaking at its worst.
